Intelligent Operating Modes:
Our heat pumps have intelligent operating modes adapting to all situations. Including a hybrid mode for when additional guests are staying in your home and a vacation mode for when you are away on holidays.
Backup Heating Element:
All of our heat pumps come with a backup heating element to make sure you’re never out of hot water! If the heat pumps stops working for whatever reason you can turn this on manually. This will make sure you have water until your system gets serviced.
Our heat pump range all have an external wrap around coil which avoids potential contamination of water and extends tank life expectancy compared to internal coils.
Heat pump water heaters work by drawing hot air from the surrounding air and moving it to heat the water in the tank. A fan draws the hot air and directs it into the refrigerator where it is vaporised, a compressor compresses the vapor and pumps it throughout the tank and the water gets heated. The amount of heat transferred into the water depends on how warm the environment is. Therefore, it is good to note that heat pump water heaters work well in places like Australia where the climate temperature is high most of the time. In addition, heat pump water heaters dehumidify and cool the air and its surroundings during the process of transferring heat.
The Australian government encourages hot water heat pumps to be installed because they are environmentally friendly and save on energy. Heat pumps save up to three times on your hot water energy bills which translates to a 75% saving on your money.
Financial incentives and benefits are offered in Australia for installing hot water heat pumps and other rebates may also be available from your local council.
